Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UI/UX testing, API validation using Postman, and test case design. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality by identifying issues, reporting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform UI/UX testing to validate usability, accessibility, and design consistency.
- Conduct API testing using Postman for RESTful services, including validation of request/response payloads, headers, and error handling.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Document defects clearly and track them through resolution.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications/Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for REST API testing.
- Proficiency in test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to have skills:
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Familiarity with automation tools (optional but a plus).
