Role Summary:
As a Product Manager at Zeliot, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for key areas of the Condense platform. You will define what to build, why it matters, and how success is measured, working closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams. This role requires strong technical understanding combined with product intuition, customer empathy, and execution rigor. You will be accountable for product outcomes—from discovery and roadmap definitions to launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the product vision and roadmap for assigned Condense platform capabilities (e.g.,streaming pipelines, transformations, connectors, observability, AI-assisted development).
- Define clear product goals, success metrics, and KPIs aligned with business and customer outcomes.
- Make informed prioritization and trade-off decisions based on impact, feasibility, and strategic value.
Discovery & Problem Definition
- Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and domain experts to identify high impact problems in real-time data streaming and infrastructure.
- Translate customer pain points into well-defined product opportunities and solution hypotheses.
- Validate ideas through data, feedback, and technical feasibility assessments.
Execution & Delivery
- Transform product and feature ideas into clear, structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that define problem statements, user value, scope, workflows, success metrics, and non-functional requirements.
- Own feature definition end to end ensuring requirements is unambiguous, technically feasible, and aligned with platform architecture and long-term roadmap goals.
- Partner closely with engineering and design teams to translate PRDs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Own in-app documentation, feature-level messaging, and contextual product guidance ensuring users clearly understand new capabilities and how to use them effectively.
- Drive backlog prioritization and release execution, balancing customer impact, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Act as the single point of accountability for feature readiness, quality, and successful production launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Platform teams to ensure shared understanding of scope, architecture, and constraints.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new features.
- Support customer-facing teams with enablement materials, demos, and technical narratives.
Post-Launch & Continuous Improvement
- Track feature adoption, usage patterns, and customer feedback post-release.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to drive iterative improvements.
- Continuously refine the product based on real-world usage, performance, and scalability needs.
Technical Depth & Platform Understanding
- Develop a deep understanding of Condense’s architecture, data flows, Kafka-based streaming model, and BYOC deployments.
- Ensure product decisions align with real implementation constraints and long-term platform scalability.
- Partner with engineering to evaluate technical trade-offs and future platform investments.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or arelated field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent product ownership role) in a software or deep-tech environment.
- Proven experience owning product roadmaps and delivering customer-facing platform features.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.
- Familiarity with streaming systems (Kafka or similar), real-time data processing, or infrastructure products is highly desirable.
- Ability to define problems clearly and translate them into scalable product solutions.
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking product success metrics.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Advantages/Good to have skills:
- Experience in IoT, connected mobility, automotive telematics, or large-scale data platforms.
